Donation Of Time:
Our 2013- 2014 Barracuda class needs the following voluntary positions filled:
1. Lead Room Mom/ Dad- This parent will coordinates holiday events with Mrs. Nedin to make them exciting and educational. This parent will also reach out to other parents, seek volunteers, coordinate field trips, organize FCAT goodie-bags, and other activities. This person will serve as a liaison between Barracuda parents and the teacher. (Obligation 1 - 3 hours a week)
2. Barracuda Class Assistant- This volunteer will assist with making photo copies, cutting, leveling books, tearing papers out of workbooks, reading with students, assisting with math activities, and attending field trips. (Obligation: What ever you can provide!)

The Barracuda Class Needs A Sponsor!
As you know teachers tend to spend a lot of their own personal funds for supplementary classroom materials and supplies. Class sponsorship takes a lot of the burden off of teachers. At this time we do not have a Barracuda class sponsor. Classroom sponsors are usually local families or businesses. Sponsors are recognized via plaque on the classroom door, in all correspondence with parents and in the Sigsbee Scoop. Of course the donation is also tax deductible Classroom sponsor money goes directly to class activities, resources and the classroom library. If you are able to sponsor the Barracuda class or know someone who can, please let Mrs. Nedin know!
